The Challenge
SICO is a leading regional asset manager and investment bank. Their challenge is one specific to financial services: marketing high-value, tightly regulated products to a discerning, often high-net-worth audience, across platforms that impose strict rules on financial promotion.
For the Elzaad Sukuk Fund, a Sharia-compliant fixed income fund with a minimum investment of $100,000, the brief came with real scepticism. It was the first time SICO would run paid ads for a fund, and the open question was whether social media could possibly reach and convert high-net-worth investors at all.
The Strategy
We treat SICO as a strategic partner, not just a media buyer. Every engagement starts with a proper brief: who we are targeting, the proposition, and the considerable legal and compliance requirements around it. We advise them on what is and is not permissible when advertising financial products on each platform, then build compliant creative with the necessary disclaimers.
For Elzaad, we matched channel to audience: LinkedIn and Instagram for reach and targeting, supported by Google Search for intent, running across Saudi Arabia and Bahrain.
What We Did
Our work for SICO spans the full marketing stack on a project basis. For SICO Live, their investment app for regional and international assets, we began with motion-graphic explainer videos, which expanded into a website and a broader suite of marketing collateral.
For the Elzaad Sukuk Fund, we created the campaign assets, launched across the chosen channels, and tracked lead quality throughout — the same closed-loop approach we bring to all our media buying.
