It is the first question every client asks and the one most production companies answer with "it depends." That is true, but unhelpful. So here is the straight version, from a team that shoots every week for the Gulf's most-followed venues: the honest price bands, what actually moves the number, and how to brief so your quote is accurate the first time.
The short answer
As a working guide for the Bahrain market, budget in these bands. Every project is scoped individually, and we will always tell you if a smaller format serves the goal better.
| Format | Typical range (BHD) | What it buys |
|---|---|---|
| Social-first video (Reel or TikTok edit) | 150 – 500 | A half-day shoot or footage from a content day, edited vertical with captions and music |
| Event coverage | 300 – 1,500 | Crew on the day, highlight film plus social cuts |
| Brand or venue film | 1,500 – 8,000+ | Concept, script, full crew shoot days, cinematic edit, bilingual versions |
| Commercial photography add-on | from 200 | Stills shot on the same session as your video, one crew, one call sheet |
| Monthly content days | 800 – 3,000 / month | A recurring shoot day plus an agreed volume of edited deliverables |
Those bands cover most of what we quote. A launch film with multiple locations and talent sits at the top; a single-location social edit sits at the bottom.
What actually drives the price
1. Pre-production
Concept, script, storyboard, location scouting, casting and scheduling. This is the part clients cannot see on screen, and the part that decides whether the shoot day runs smoothly or expensively.
2. Crew and shoot days
The single biggest cost line. A one-camera half day and a two-camera two-day shoot with a gaffer are very different numbers. More setups, more locations and more talent all add shoot time.
3. Editing and revisions
Cutting, colour, sound and motion graphics. A clear brief and a disciplined review process keep this efficient; endless revision rounds are where budgets quietly die.
4. Versioning
One film is rarely one deliverable anymore. Vertical for Reels and TikTok, square for feed, widescreen for YouTube and screens, Arabic and English subtitle passes. Versioning is inexpensive compared to shooting again later, so plan it upfront.
5. Usage
A film for your own channels is priced differently from one destined for paid media across the GCC. Tell us where it will run and for how long.
Project or monthly content days?
If you need one film, commission one film. But if you are feeding social channels every week, monthly content days almost always cost less per deliverable: the crew already knows your venue, the brand look is established, and one shoot day feeds weeks of posts. It is how we keep social media management clients supplied with the video that carries their feeds, and it is why 90% of what we publish is video.
Why in-house production changes the maths
Many agencies quote you a management fee and then subcontract the actual filming. You pay twice: once for the production company, once for the agency margin on top. GOamplify's videographers, photographers and editors are in-house, planning, shooting and editing under one roof. Nothing is marked up between companies, nothing is lost in handover, and the person who briefed you is on the shoot.
The proof is public: production quality won us the SUSHISAMBA partnership before the retainer did, and Time Out Market Bahrain's launch content is referenced across the global group.
Just need a one-off shoot, fast?
Not every job needs an agency engagement. For one-off Reels, event coverage and photography with fixed scopes and fixed prices, we run a dedicated production studio: Epic Content, our productised content arm with fixed prices published on their site and a 48-hour delivery guarantee. Same Bahrain-based crew standards, built for speed and transparent pricing. When the goal grows into strategy, channels and campaigns, that is where GOamplify picks up.
How to brief for an accurate quote
- The goal: awareness, footfall, enrolments, bookings. The objective shapes the format.
- Where it will run: Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, screens, paid media, or all of them.
- Locations and access: one venue or five, day or night, operating hours or closed set.
- People: staff, real customers, presenters or casted talent.
- The deadline: a launch date changes how we plan the schedule.
With those five answers we can usually quote within a day, and we will come back with a point of view, not just a price. Read how the production process works from brief to final cut, browse the production page to see the work, or open the chat and tell us what you are trying to make.
